Olive Wheat Grape is one of the newbie restaurants in Pune. With a well curated Mediterranean and Continental menu and located on the Prabhat Road , this restaurant is quite noticeable because of its unique name and interior which is visible from outside. The aura of the restaurant is very classy with open kitchen, beautiful painting on the wall, comfortable seating and a startling small non-alcoholic bar section in the corner.
The menu includes soups , salads in a jar , cold starters served with pita bread, pizzas, pastas, tajine , rice with full meal servings, non alcoholic popular drink recipes and desserts .
As we settled in, the first dish to arrive from the smaller plates option on the menu was Garlic prawns, tossed in olive oil with loads of colors, cooked to perfection. It looked great and tasted yummy. The next dish was Chicken Kebab, dipped in cheese, chilli flakes and rosemary. It is a must try dish. Turkish Chicken Roast Eid special dish, dressed with black pepper and very few spices, tasted delicious. Penne Pesto with grilled chicken Pasta was very well cooked and smothered in pink sauce with a little bit of tangy taste and Veg Supreme thick crust Pizza which was freshly baked and cheese melting yummiest. Moving to the dessert we tried few of them. One of them was Omali, the Egyptian dessert that combines the creaminess of bread pudding and whipped cream. It tasted somewhat like Baklava. Second and last dessert we tried was Fudgy brownies. Soft chocolate brownie topped with chocolate sauce which has my heart. The staff is courteous and welcoming and the place is superb for any meal with family and friends .
