In the quiet bylanes of Bhandarkar Road , two hotels were doing brisk business in the 90s and were the most popular for conferences and banquets , one of them being Hotel Ranjit and the other Hotel Raviraj. With time Bhandarkar Road turned into a commercial street with offices, banks and shops and many small and big restaurants mushroomed on the roads adjacent to Bhandarkar Road . After a lull of about two decades , suddenly a new vibrant place has sprung up where Hotel Ranjit and now Hotel Ranjit O executive is located . It is like finding a hidden gem , place which went into hibernation for a long time. With funky looks , relaxing atmosphere , pretty lights the ambience at Hippie@Heart adds to the vibrancy. The place in a short time has become so popular that it is full on most of the weekends.
The menu has been designed particularly for the younger generation with a combination of finger food , European , Italian , Continental and North Indian food. This includes Tapas, Pizzas, Sandwiches , Salads, Pastas and Mains followed by desserts. .
We would recommend starting off with a Berry Spritzer Mocktail which has a splash of berry or Dragonfly Mocktail accompanied with yummy Chicken Tacos. The Garlic Butter Thyme Prawns tossed in white sauce and butter, garlic at this place has my heart. Jerk Chicken Drumsticks and Summer Pizza, Spinach and Mushroom Bruschetta are delicious as well. The sweet and short list of desserts include Tiramisu, Sizzling Brownie and a mousse. But what stands out is the all time popular Kheema Pao which is just outstanding and can’t be missed her. The Mumbai style classic grilled sandwich also stands out and is more than enough to fill your stomach.
The ambience is inspired by pop culture has imagery of it all over the walls. With inside and outside seating , the outside seating is more pleasant . In all Hippie@Heart is a perfect place for dine outs especially with friends .
