There are only a few European restaurants in Pune who have held fort and carved out a niche for themselves. The Flour Works started by female entrepreneur Chef Meeta Makhecha, is is one such brand which has become a popular destination with its European style food. Started in 2012 in Kalyani Nagar and followed by successful launch in Baner, The Flour Works has recently opened its doors at NIBM Road.
The Food served here includes all day dining menu, exotic beverages and a great line up of bakery products. The food line up includes sandwiches , eggs , French toast , waffles , starters , soups , salads , Pizzas , Pastas , Risotto , Mains and Desserts . Roasted Garlic Soup , Spinach and Goat Cheese tartlets , Spicy barbeque sandwich , club sandwich , Quinoa Salad , Tofu tossed with bell peppers , hazel nuts and broccoli , Roasted vegetable crumble with garlic bread are good and worth trying .
The ambience of Kalyani Nagar outlet is great, but the NIBM ambience is equally good with outside seating being pet friendly and a good European style ambience on the inside. The place is in an area which is just developing and has a lot of open space on one side.
There will always be mixed reviews for European Restaurants but the fact that a restaurant can spread its wings to different parts of the city highlights one thing – this flour really works!
Thank you @foodaddaindia for suggesting me this place.
