After its success in Mumbai and Delhi, theobroma bakery and patisserie has finally opened its doors in Pune . Theobroma means ‘Food of the Gods’ in Greek. Established more than 15 years back in Mumbai, the Parsi family owned patisserie offers interesting products and combinations. The menu includes all day breakfast, cakes, patisserie, sandwiches, chocolates, cookies, quiches tea and coffee. The breakfast items include sandwiches, eggs, omelets and pancakes.

Some of the products on offer are irresistible. The Millionaire Brownie is and adaptation of English Classic Millionaire short bread and worth trying. Those like gain pure happiness from chocolates go for the chocolate bar. The Cappuccino pastry, Red Velvet, after nine pastries are truly indulgent and so is cup cakes and cookies.

The ambience is soothing with pastel colors and bluish green & pink facia board. Since this is a bakery, the seating space will always be full in peak times and so take away is also a good option.

Although the bakery has opened off lane no. 6 Koregaon Park which is one of the most prime locations, considering the popularity of the brand and geographical spread of Pune, they will have to open multiple outlets in upscale suburbs in future .
