While Baner is undoubtedly the hottest destination in Pune , the center of all he action is Balewadi High Street . But the areas adjoining it are also turning into food hubs. Park Grandeur diagonally opposite balewadi high street also has a great line up of restaurants . Knight Risers well into first year of its operations is a nice place to hangout . The resto lounge serves Pan Asian , Indian food , pastas , pizzas , salads and little bites .
The menu starts with Pan Asian food including crispy veg/ chicken , veg spring rolls , momo, Kong Pao Chicken , Devil Chicken , Thai Curry , Pad Thai Noodles , Nashi Goreng which is Indonesian fried rice with meat and vegetables , chicken in oyster sauce . But what stands out is the Burmese dish Khow Suey . This undoubtedly is one of the rising stars of Pune and is now on the menu of most of the leading multi cuisine restaurants . The Burmese noodle dish served meat / vegetables and coconut curry is served differently in various restaurants in pune. Some serve the coconut curry and noodles differently while here at Knight Risers it is served mixed with coconut curry.
The Indian section had tandoor veg and non veg dishes but Paneer Hill Top which is cottage cheese stuffed with cheese and spices and Peri Peri vegetables with cauliflower , button mushrooms , potato , babycorn stands out. Infusing the peri peri flavor in a tandoor dish is interesting and tastes good. The restaurant also serves pastas, pizzas, Indian mains , biryanis , salads, little bites while roomali roti papad and desserts.
The ambience is youthful with dark hues to give a look of a lounge . The seating is indoor as well as outdoors and makes up for a good hangout.
