Pune is not new to the trend of Bungalows turning into Eateries. This has been a trend for last two decades especially in the eastern part of the city. The recently launched The Bombay Bungalow adds to that list. Located at South Main Road off Lane No.5 and 6 , the menu is mix of Continental , North Indian and Modern Indian Food. It includes Breakfast Menu , Salads , Burrito Bowls , On toasts , eggs , Bread Bowls , Rice Bowls , lemonades , shakes , desserts, appetizers, pastas, pizzas , Dum Biryanis , Indian Veg and Non veg mains, siders , teas , coffees and others. But what stands out is the Chaat options especially Paani Puri Shooters and the Pockets which seem to be in fashion nowadays. The Farm House Mix Pocket for vegetarian and Chicken Tikka Pocket served with garlic mayo dip and fries are just superb and spicy.
The ambience is good, refreshing with super white colour patched with blue designs. The seating area is inside as well as outside The prices are reasonable and the staff is courteous.Overall worth a visit!
