When it comes to food and hospitality Taj Hotels is the boss. This was reflected in the recently concluded Kashmiri Food Festival , The Flavours of Kashmir . This festival was organized at the Mystic Masala Restaurant at Vivanta by Taj Blue diamond which is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Pune . Normally this restaurant provides an amazing local connect to people travelling to pune which a lot of delicious Maharashtrian Food amongst other cuisines . The Kashmiri food festival was also an interesting connect to Kashmiri food.
A superb Coriander and Almond soup was an apt start to the meal . The appetizers included Nadru Malai Tikki , Chaman Kanti , kokkor kanti and Tabak maaz, Chaman Kanti and Nadru Malai Tikki as starters. The main course was interesting with Dum Aloo , Tomato Chaman , Nadru Yakhani in Veg and Rista, Mutton Rogan Josh , Waza Chicken , Dhaniwal Korma , Gustaba in Non Veg . But was stood was Kashmiri Rajma , a vegetarian dish made of Kidney beans cooked with kashmiri spices. Kashmiri Pulao was a good rice preparation . Badami Phirnee, Badam aur Suji ka Halwa and the traditional Kashmiri Kahwa summed up a sumptuous meal.
